Foden concedes City did not cope with Brentford.

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden admits they were too weak to withstand Brentford for the entire 90 minutes, leading to a draw at the Gtech Community Stadium despite leading by two goals.

Foden scored twice to give the defending champions a 2-0 lead, but the home side took advantage of their physical advantage and combined it with a competitive style of play to tie the game 2-2 and share the points.

The physical toughness that cannot withstand is the main reason why the English players see the reason for the drop in points, not the number of games played more than the opponents.

“We looked exhausted in the last 20-30 minutes,” he told Football on TNT Sports.

“We looked limp, while our opponents kept pressing and kept shooting long balls into the goal.”

“Until the end we can’t resist the toughness. This is a tough field when you come here. They will give you a different challenge .”

“I was happy with the team’s performance until หรือถ้าคุณสนใจแทงบอลออนไลน์ UFABET คือเว็บที่มีอัตราต่อรองดีที่สุดในประเทศไทย สมัครเลยตอนนี้ที่ UFABET แทงบอล we took a 1-0 lead because then we lost form and started losing possession,”

“It’s something we have to learn from. Brentford were a challenge for Man City last night, and everyone did their best.”

“The number of games played this season has no effect because I have been used to it for many years.”

“We play big tournaments all the time, we play every three days. Sometimes the players get used to it, so it’s no excuse.”

Man City have played 31 games in all competitions at the halfway point of the season. While Brentford have played 26 games, which is not too far behind.
