Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has admitted that owner Evangelos Marinakis comments after the club’s 2-2 draw at Leicester were understandable.

“It was certainly a day when we put a lot of energy into winning. We were disappointed when we didn’t.”

“Simply put, we have to สมัคร ufabet กับเรา รับโบนัสทันที be consistent, especially when we control the game and dominate it. That goal could have been avoided. We should have done a lot better. That’s the disappointment we have.”

“Whatever happens to Leicester, they have quality players and they showed that today, which makes it difficult to beat them.”

“Honestly, I thought we could have won the game. It was a bad day,”

Speaking about the owner coming onto the pitch at the end of the game, “Football is an emotion. Today, there were more than 30,000 people on the pitch with their own emotions. It was a heavy moment. After the situation with Taiwo Awoniyi, we were reduced to one man after a misunderstanding.”

“It’s hard to control our emotions when we expect too much on a day like this.”

Asked if Awoniyi’s incident was the reason, Nuno replied: “Yes, it was because of that. It was a misunderstanding, a miscommunication. I’m sorry. I can’t say anything more.”

“It depends on the mood. You can’t make a big deal out of it. It’s happened before and it will happen again. With the mood today, it’s understandable.”

Speaking about the fight for a Champions League spot, “We have to react now. We have two games left. It’s not in our hands anymore, but we have to find a solution for the team for those games.”
